The oil pan made it in today, just needs a bit of cleaning up and it will be ready to throw on.

Short throw is sold, header is just a pacesetter, nothing fancy. It's only been on the truck for 8 months or so?

Been slow progress, despite me working on the truck almost every weekend for a few hours a day. Finally got all my oil pump stuff figured out and in place. Had to get a new hose since the sold hose for the 7mgte off the supra got in the way when we moved the pump to a front pickup pump from a mid pickup pump.

Got it in place and it clears everything beautifully.

I haven't been taking many pictures of this because my hands have been too dirty to bother with getting my phone out for pictures.

As of right now, the motor is mounted in where it needs to be. Just need to finish mounting the trans, get the drive shaft shortened, order a bigger fuel pump, and get some radiator fans. Then it's all down to pluming and wiring.

We are working on plumbing at the moment. It's a slow process only getting a couple hours a weekend but it'll get there eventually. We are waiting for some brackets to come in so we can mount the transmission where it needs to go as well as the radiator. I came across a set of electric fans off an old porsche that I'm going to see if I can get to fit infront of the radiator. Here are some pics to help keep everyone happy. I will be posting some things up for sale (engine wise) in the for sale thread so if anyone is looking for parts check it out.

    Mounts aren't tight yet.

Looks like a nice project. What did you do (or are you going to do) about the 5M brackets being in the way of the oil filter?

Just loosened the bracket and turned it out of the way then tightened it back down. Fits perfectly.

Progress has been at a stand still for a few months. I haven't even gone to look at the truck because of my new job. Been working 60 hours a week and going to class 20 hours a week. I get my new place at the end of this month and will be moving it there so I will be able to work on it more.

I'm glad the oil filter thing is a simple fix like that. Thankfully every question I've had about this motor swap has a simple solution.

As for your project, it sounds like you'd be lucky to get any sleep, let alone any time to work on your truck! I've been there on a lesser scale though; any time you get to work on your truck will at least be fun. Good luck, I'm sure I'll have some more questions for ya later.

If you're talking about my Supra, that thing is loooong gone! Before I got rid of it, I gutted that thing like a fresh killed deer. (R.I.P.) It was nice, but you can't save em all.

First update in 7 months. Finally got the truck moved to my new house. Need to sort through the parts from the swap and get things organized again so I can get this thing on the road again. Should be some slow but steady updates coming up.
