I have been long overdue on an update! Money issues have slowed me down a bit but I got a few bucks saved up and did a couple cheap things to help settle me for now.

First, I turned on my heater the other day and my blower motor was making a horrible sound and a bunch of crap flew out of my vents. This was the first time I had them on since getting the truck out of the field it was parked in for +6 years. I pulled off the motor and this is what poured out.

After I got that all cleaned out and blew the air hose through the plumbing I decided I would finally install my 6x9's that had been sitting in the shed for a few months. No pic of that yet. I'll get some tomorrow.

I also had some LED's laying around so I pulled off my dome light and wired up 3 led's. I know there are bulb replacements you can get for the stock setup but I was bored and wanted to make my own and not spend more money than I had to.

If anyone wants me to do a writeup on how I did this just let me know and I'll get one up. I have pictures of every step.

Alright, I'll get one written up in the next day or two. My way is the hard way to do this LED mod, but I like to make things myself, rather than just buying things and plugging them in. Makes me feel more like -I'm- working on my truck, rather than someone else and I'm just installing it. :p

Lol, They are nearly done! All I have to do is mount them onto the housing, and put the lens on. I need to relocate my batt. also which is probably why I haven't finished them yet.

It's been a while since I posted any form of an actual update on things I'd been doing on my truck. I put in some 6x9's behind the seat. Nothing fancy there. Pulled out my gauges and changed them over to LED's also changed over my climate control light to LED. I didn't have the green on the back of my cluster like many talk about needing to remove so mine was -really- easy just swapped out the bulbs for the LED replacements.

I'm currently talking to a guy with a 94 4runner that I'm trying to get the seats bumper and valance off of. If that pans out I will be getting those put on in the next couple days. I still need to finish my retro HID's. Need to relocate my batt for it though. Anyone got a good place to tuck it away at? Post up some pics and I would appreciate it!

    Thanks!

I have no clue why ive never seen your truck before but its sick man. you should try and score the fenders off that 4runner. so your truck is 6 lug? how do you get the parts for that ? looks good though.
