Whoopdie Doo, I've been fighting a carrier bearing and 40 hp more for years. You're not special.

 

i dont mind the carrier bearing so much since it actually helps the truck be low... without it the back of the cab would have to be tunneled.

and the 40hp is nothin special, i know... but it does help to not slow the truck down any when the ac is on and im drifting through a chicane....

 

besides.... they'll REALLY have something to be jealous about when my truck gets its new stance, suspension and power plant..... and so might the rest of you here

If y'all only knew my next project for the winter. It's a whole 'nother hilux but going full nutso on. Not saying much but the roof will be at 40" static and it'll have 400 hp.

 

Chopping 10" out doesn't count as lowering!

If you've ever considered mounting your rear leaf springs ,upside down, on top of the frame. Hanging the rear diff from the springs and cutting channels into the sides of the bed because "No ones ever done it before"
