why cant i edit my threads

    i dont know since when i cant edit my threads any more

    i was able to edit one if my thread, is this like temp or someone changed it?

    i still can edit posts

    i can edit in some forums , but not in wtb or some others, this is so werid

    the admin has the edit time limited.

    i've requested it be extended but not luck.. :(

    I'm not sure how much time we have to edit. Was it 12 hours or so?
    Like say you posted at 8am. You can't edit past 8pm

    can we change this rule?


    like i have a for sale or wtb thread, i sell something or bought something , i cant go back and edit any updates on the first post


    this 12hr idea is insane :looney:


    none of the forum iv been to have had this kinda rule

    I agree with this being change. Dont understand why they would have a limit on something that you might want to change later.For example selling something

    Yeah, I deleted it's posts where I have jurisdiction, but I don't have that authority in here.

    About the time limit, I've never even thought about it. Has anyone else mentioned it to Jeff? I can do likewise.

    I know in another forum i visit, you cannot edit for sale posts as well. It was because people kept chainging the prices on there threads. The buyer and seller would agree on a price and meet and then the seller would change the price. Was creating all kinds of problems so they just made it so you cant edit. Dunno what the reason is here but thats what happened on other forums.
