Here's my 88 with static drop, front 2'' Beltech spindles,2'' dropped rear springs w/ 2'' blocks, rear notch, front have to cut away the front part of the inner fender or the tire will hit, causing a tie rod to possibly pull out( happened to me)! TIRE SIZE 225X18X40
Ride height around 4'' @ frame, would hit front strut bars & trans mount on speed bumps.Hope this is some help!
Those photo's are a while back, not static dropped any more,so your good!!,We all start some where,I never planed on going as far as I'm at now. But there is no going back!! Your ride is looking good!!
thanks, now i just got to get my sidedrafts on so i can drive here agian, been lazy and the weather is still crappy to be working out side..
belltech spindles, flipped balljoints,3 inch leafs and 2 inch blocks, and took some tension off the torsion bars.
Rolledz71, I just want you to know that that makes me smile... BTW - I love the turbo action going on with the tires. heh.
I laughed at that too. Tires companies always use flashy words to market their ****, particularly the ****ty brands. My friend has Super Sport Steel tires.
hooope sup all those minis' yupz another guy from the HI state in the middle of the pacific, heres my 87' custom torsions(this is the highest it goes), mono leafed on 3 in blocks, runnin 225/45/R17's on the right
Here's a picture of my buddies new truck. Not the same friend that has the extended cab in an earlier post. He traded a car DVD player for it. He put a new motor in it, new weber carb, and lowered it. He cranked down the torsion bars in the front, mono leafed with 3in blocks in the rear, and removed all the bumpstops. I think he needs to repaint it with the same paint scheme it has now.
i think my 86 might be the one. when it is aired out it is 42 inches tall, thanks to the chop top and cuttin off the rockers. it is set up to run 18" rims, but has stock 14" rims for now.
