OK PLEASE LISTEN I NEED HELP, AND HOPE TO HELP SOME OF YOU BEFORE YOU WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY LIKE ME ! I ordered front fenders and bedsides from glassworks from Tim at Glassworks Unlimited on SEPTEMBER 3, 2009 I PAID $1,189.10 It was supposed to ship the 4th but it did not, here is the invoice email from the 3rd. Javier, Just want to say "Thank you" for your order of the Nissan Titan front fenders and bedsides for the crew cab model. The total cost is $1189.10 and was charged to your Visa card alittle bit ago but may not show up on your statement for a few days. The parts will be pallet wrapped and is scheduled to be picked up tomorrow already, if anything changes I will let you know. Thank you again for your order. Tim After CALLING MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY I decided to email him asking for the shipping info. Here is his response Javier They did not pick up friday last week so we have them rescheduled to pick up today. I emailed him on september 8th asking for the tracking number, 5 full days after the purchase On the 10th I got a blank email, I asked again on the 11th and got Javier, My shipper is not in today so I do not know who he shipped it with, I tried to call him a bit ago but he did not answer, I will keep trying, cause I do not know where he put the shipping log at. Then I let him know I need the number, because I sent him 1200 dollars I need to know where my money is going... he replied on the same day I totally understand. I had my supervisor call him and could not get a hold either, he will be back in on monday so I will get it than, he only works part time for us right now, he goes to school 2 days a week and works for us on Mon. Wed. and Thurs. right now, great guy and very hard working, just a little forgetful sometimes about putting things back in the right places. Now the fun BEGINS!... I do not have exact dates because all the conversations went to phone calls. I tried calling him many many times, never got answers... finally he answered one day maybe like sep. 22 ? I said he how come I dont have my fenders yet its been like 3 weeks ! he said oh they should be there today. So I wait more... no they dont come, I wait a few days and call back and he says oh hey I was about to call you ! the pallet came back today and it was all broken, it got cracked in delivery... so I say ok well that sucks umm when are you sending my new ones ??? he said it would take a day to get a pair ready. At this time im changing my mind and I decide I want him to gel coat them blue instead so I tell him to hold on for a day so I can decide, I told him late that day or the next day I wanted them Blue he said ok, they will be ready and shipped wednesday. Sweet thanks! well he never called back.. I waited till thursday and called about 20 to 35 times a day, NOT ONCE DID HE ANSWER A SINGLE PHONE CALL !!! so I waited, waited some more, oh yeah still calling all day long wasting my time !... Finally I go to my bank file that I got ripped off, so they open an investigation, my case was legit ! They refunded my money around october 6th. Now I thought I was golden.. WRONGGGG!! So today I get a phone call from the body shop I had them delivered to asking if I was ever going to pick my package up... I was like woahhhh wait you finaly got them ? they said yeah theyve been sitting a few weeks.... supossedly they lost my number and found it and called me, anyways they package either was shipped of delivered on october 8th, I still havent found out which because who can I beleive now ? I dont have any proof of anything ! so me being a good guy Im wondering why has he not called me asking why his 1,189.10 was taken from his account. So I call Tim and guess what HE ANSWERS! so I tell him what happened, he turns into a complete douche on the phone says he wants his money asap, he wont accept a return and that he clearly told me he wouldnt accept a return before my purchase, and he was on his way to file a dispute with the bank... So, can someone PLEASE TELL ME WHERE I STAND ! I just want to send these F#$%ing THINGS BACK TO HELL WHERE THEY CAME FROM ! I dont even care if it costs me 300 bucks to send them back, its better then that bastard getting a single penny from me ! WHAT CAN I DO!
wow man thats a bunch of crap. So you now have your money refunded and you have parts? but the body shop had them and never told you they were there? sounds tacky, somethings not right.
I would call him back and let him know about the mixup, including how he didn't answer your calls. Thinking you were being scammed, you did what you did. Now, I would also apologize for the mix up, and since he doesn't want to deal with the return, repay for the parts. It is what it is, if there wasn't any issues with the actual parts, as far as really bad craftsmanship, you ordered them, take 'em. Unfortunately, every once in a while something like this happens, we just have to deal with it. Recently, Summit Racing sent me the wrong part, TWICE. As huge of a headache as it was, since I couldn't drive the vehicle for 4 weeks. I will still do business with them. Just my opinion, I would have done the same thing you did....
