What do ya mean they don't make W3's? I have W3's. You mean in 8"? Cause they do.... http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs.php?series_id=27 They also make a 6" W3....and I've heard they are a pretty good sounding little woofer http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs.php?series_id=29
IM JUST RUNNIN' A JL8"w3 ON A 8" BAZOOKA TUBE.HITTS PRETTY GUD,NOT TO MUCH BUT ENUFF FOR SUM IN CAB ENTERTAINMENT.LOL
12" JL W1 with a Pioneer 250 watt amp. It sounds decent a good enough for me. It sits on my passenger seat since there's no room for it right now. I do have the stock bench but when I get bucket seats hopefully there's space for it in the middle along with a custom box and better amp. I also have two 6x9's mounted behind the bench but not plugged in. I'm planning on getting tweeters as well.
image dynamics 10'' idq in a small truck box behind passenger seat, and a blaupunkt 500watt 4 channel amp behind my seat. i killed my ears with my old setup in my car and im over the loud and overly bassy stereo systems. im actually thinking of taking out the 10'' for an 8'' tube and making it into a center console.
Kicker Comp, 2.1cu.ft., Lightning Audio. This thing pounds the crap out of the truck. Roof flexes and my back window does too. But i needs more bass
I also forgot to mention. I had a small crack on my windshield and after I installed the sub I started to notice that the vibration from the bass was making the crack bigger. So I got the crack fixed. Hopefully it doesn't grow. My truck has been sitting anyways. **** dies after 3 seconds.
xtra cab for the flipping win.. This is why i bought an xtra cab, more room in cabin, and they look better in body shape, so ooh ra! Check this pic out, im wanting to do something like this, but with normal subs.
