How much mechanical experience do you have? It can be pretty involved to do it the right way. Not necessarily expensive, but involved.
im pretty mechanicl what can i do to lower my truck cause everybody has one raised up and i jsutwant to do something a lil diffrent in my town
It really depends on how far down you want to go. if you just want a couple inches, thenk you can crank the torsion bars and use blocks in the rear. Another route is to buy drop spindles foe a later year truck and modify your lower control arm to fit the later ball joints. Belltech sells 3" drop leaf springs for around $150 Each. And post pics of that truck for us to enjoy.
Yes, dropping your truck by using lowering springs changes the distance between shock mount posts and will require a shorter shock.
Well I've run into more problems. Cross treaded the back shackle nut an can't even get the front out. Put in a cheap little ubolt to limp it home and the nut has pulled thru plate at the bottom of the shock. An from what I can tell are the rn34 parts are discontinued
Start a new thread for your truck and your issues. Itl be easier for people to go thru and respond. And you have to give a few more details for anyone to help
