With the recommended offset, there was some rub. When I finally adjusted the steering stops to eliminate the rub, the turning radius wasn't good. but after installing the spacers, the rub was gone and now I can do a U-turn on a three lane road. I believe that the torsion bars are designed for a prerunner style truck. Off road you need a slightly stiffer spring rate, so these are a 30% higher spring rate than stock. They ride great though, even my wife doesn't mind riding in the truck, and she's picky....... They are definitely better than the stock torsion bars though, they don't bottom out nearly as easily.
