valve cover gasket?

    Just asking for future reference but on a 22r valve cover there a plate bolt on underneath with an opening, not sure what its called, i removed it and theres a gasket there but it ripped up, is this something can get at autozone or do i just, silicone it up?

    you mean on the underside of the valve cover? thats an oil baffle, and it has to do something with the pcv system. I dont think its a critical gasget, if you can get one for cheap cool, if not no big deal. Just make sure you put that plate back on.
