US inquires why ISIS has so many Toyota trucks

    Because Toyotas were built to run and drive anywhere on the planet...got to be reliable in the desert, in the cold, rain, highway, terrain, etc.

    I guess it's official now.

    We always joke about how Toyotas are the choice of terrorists all over the world because they always show up in pictures.

    It's ridiculous for the US to ask "why" there are so many Toyotas in terrorists' hands (we already know "why"). The question is "how" they get them...

    +1, I laughed when i read it too....smh...ridiculous! They have Toyotas because they are the only rigs that will run in that awful place and take the abuse...

    These trucks are all over most eastern countries & in the far east & south America so easy to come by! These **** heads aren't buying them they are stealing them!!:cool:

    yeah I don't get it either - to me it's fairly common sense that they're driving the vehicle brand that tends to dominate in that part of the globe. hell, that's why I drive only toyotas and own a land cruiser - because I know they are built to last and can actually survive in 3rd world countries unlike all the domestic crapboxes people buy here which would likely leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere

    a better set of questions for them to ask might come from that pic that was floating around the net earlier this year, where they were photo'ed driving around in a truck with a texas based company logo -- how the heck did they get that or all the US military vehicles and weapons they use???
