well today i finally checked the front suspension on the truck and noticed the lower ball joints were really lose i mean only like 3 threads was holding them on so i tightened the pass side and it worked fine went to tighten the drivers and the nut was stripped and flew off and broke my shock mount off . so i went to buy a new ball joint and no one has them in stock and not to mention 70 bucks a piece so i ordered 2 on ebay for 35 bucks hopefully this will fix the problem of why my truck shakes if i don't hold the steering wheel in the middle

i'd say fold the pinch minimum and lay rocker.

if you want it body dropped, that 3/4" will bug the hell out of you if you leave it.

or...... you could go to the door! :D

the z will need to be somewhere between 1-1.5". the front will need to be the same amount as the z, plus the amount of the bodydrop.

    There it is...

Update on the Black Widow that took over my garage. The Professor hacked off the extra bed mounts, shock mounts, and spring mounts. I propped the front frame stands up on 2x4's, put a spreader bar between the frame under the cab, and there it is. Old man Lincoln and his weapon of choice (6013 stick) stuck her back together like new. Gimme a day or two and we'll add in support and clean her up a bit.

    Allignment.

Any tips on alligning the black widow. WAAAAAAAAAAAAY down the road she's going to need it. I adjusted the fore and aft of the arms with the stabilizers so they appear perpendicular to the frame, and symmetrical side to side down the the 16th. I'm going to assume we establish a ride height and set the toe to 1/16th or so, but what kind of caster and camber should we aim for. I was going to set it to 2deg caster and 1deg camber. is this a good base or is there tricks to a bagged allignment.
