update on Black Widow

    little update i had a nice day today and i got the brake booster mount all done and modified the brake pedal coming along slowly hopefully have more nice weather to get more work done.

    Ya he moved it over because of the wheel tubs. Looks good man.

    yea i cut it in 2 spots and flipped it since i did the firewall kind of big in the center if i left the pedal the way it was i would have no room for the gas pedal so i had to modify it so the gas pedal would fit too.

    so more nice weather means more work lol got the wheel tubs done and mounted the booster and pedal as you can see in the pic the brake pedal sits alot further to the left as original it was where the gas pedal needed to be.

    All i did was was take the tubs and and weld them to the firewall tubs and and front part i welded to the inside parts to the parts where the battery tray used to be and and same on the other side also where the front end goes together i cut the metal and welded to the top of the fender tubs ill get more pics later some time as the weather has been horrible hope this helps.

    so not much updates as the weather sucks hopefully its nice tuesday and wednesday im going to start on the wiring first bolt up the valve covers and than start on the wiring harness. also i picked up a Tsunami amp wire kit and a farad capacitor

    so had a couple nice days and i got a little work done no wiring yet freaking wiring sux so i actually put my sound deadener down i still need to do the roof and the doors.

    What did you use for the sound deadener? Dynomat is too damn expensive.

    i got it off ebay i think it was called max mat 100 sq ft for 159 with shipping also its 80 mil thick

    worked on the wiring today ran all the wires need to wait for the headlight switch and turnsignal switch to start really wiring everything hopefully have alot of it done this weekend.

    so i finally started workin on getting the headlights mounted i had to cut quite a bit to get them to fit but i think they are going to look really cool when there fully mounted there just sitting there in the pix what do you think?

    yeah it took me forever to find the grill finally found it on ebay. as for patience i don't really have if the truck was home along time ago it would probably be driving just didn't have time nor a place to store it during winter except at my buddies and than i didn't work on it till weekends now that its home i go out just about everyday im off work and work on it. hopefully i get her wired and running this weekend.

    You should add 4 more of those square lights per side. Then it would look like the Griswald Wagon! :lol:
