thanks guys i can do more work on it now since its in my backyard. so today i finally mounted the phantom grill and corner lights bumper is just sitting there still need to make some brackets or spacers also got the tilt column in too, i also put a 1 inch spacer on the carb looks so much better and clears the dizzy.

 

so i decided im not putting the charger lights in found some different ones i like better. also got the mirrors mounted cut a hole in hood and got the the steering hooked back up

 

Nice to hear ya finaly got a place to work on it now. Lookin good, can't wait to see it done.

 

yep now its just getting really cold out lol and im always working so i can afford to do things to this truck im kind of going insane lol one day it will be done though. my plans right now is to finish the firewall and tubs get the motor put all back together and than hook it up and see how it runs and than i will work on the rest of the truck but in the time being ill probably still order a bunch of parts i did get a new rear view mirror that matches the truck better than the other one i have

cool mirrors josh!hey your corner lights look like 4 runner corners?may be why you had a hard time fitting them,the 4 runners roll in at the top to meet up with the 4 runner grill,the 4x4 truck corners are more flat at the top...

 

i would like to call dibs on those lights, if you let them go

 

my buddy actually told me if i didn't use them he wanted to get them back. So im giving them back to him but maybe you can talk to him about em.

 

well i had a 4wd corners on it too and they didn't fit either and i had the 4runner grill with them and still stuck way out and thanks on the mirrors i was looking for something different and found those plus i like that they have the turn signals built in too.

 

yeah i did find out that i do have 4wd fenders not 4runner so now i need to pick up some clear corners for a 89-91 4wd atleast i could still use the other ones on my 4runner

Hows the welding classes going? I say do a hood scoop on the hood for practice so I can learn how to do it! HAHA

 

the classes just started today i just got back about 5 minutes ago driving in horrible snow. today was all talking about all the different things with welding and power supply and so on. as for the truck no real up dates i got my tail lights the other day in the mail there going to look awesome i got the rearview mirror mounted and i got all the bolts epoxied for the dash

 

going to go pick up a few parts tomorrow hopefully im getting a solid back window the chrome around the windshield maybe a power steering setup and i might be getting some different doors i found a truck parting that is in great shape body and all just has a bad motor

so the guy i found parting out the toyota never got back with me so i just bought a lexan back window with plate for a good deal so now im going to shave the plate holder on the back of the truck and should be ordering the steel for the bed and firewall in a couple of weeks when i get my taxes back so hopefully i can get to work on this thing also finished my welding classes the instructor said everything looked good and i should have no problem getting the truck welded back together so stay tuned hopefully in a couple weeks i will have some work accomplished

the one on the drivers side is bent on the bottom and has some rust but im going to try to see if i can straightened will see if not im going to look for a new door.

 

so it looks like the widow will be going on the back burner for a little since now my wifes car is going to need a transmission which i can't believe since it only has 60,000 miles but oh well
