this is what i cut out :

I laid a straight edge along the framerails and drew the line and cut up from it about a 1/4'. After laying out the truck (no Z) I found that I have another 1/2' roughly to the ground. I'll post up some more pics after we build the new tranny mount and plate the x-member.

All done and spray bombed... Hard to tell in pics but the nipple that sticks out of the bottom of the rubber mount is 1/8' off the ground when laid out.

Thanks guys. Dunno what you mean as far as notching the cab goes. All i had to do was cut the little support rail out toward the back because it was hitting the driveshaft.

Huh:shrug: Are you going to Body drop it?? I cut 3 inches into my cab so my driveshalf would clear. Of course I like to drag the ass end while front is up so I guess If you planning on driving it always flat then shouldnt be a problem. Sorry to ask, most people Ive seen do this.

No body drop and no z. With front up and back down driveshaft clears just fine other than the small support I was talking about. I don't have a pic of that part handy....
