    76 trim turbo pushing 5psi is so much different than a 50 trim turbo pushing 5psi

    psi is just how much air stacked trying to go into the cylinder...

    You can have a stock motor pushing 28psi and making 300hp, or that same motor, cleaned up, pushing 18psi and making 300hp.


    turbo's increase torque and airflow, but you can get the same power with less psi if you port the heads. or more power for the same psi.

    pressure is how much air you're not really moving... remember, engines are air pumps.

    but having more boost isn't always bad.
