    yep 2 1/2 " straight , sounds like a tractor at idel ...

    going to have to wait a week or more for a Video, i have ****ty weather up here and she just spins everywhere when its damp

    So when is the kit gonna be ready to be sold? I'm thinkin of doin the merc instead of the tdi now. How much wiring is there on this motor

    I might have missed it but what radiator are you usin an did it have to be moved forward

    i was talking to my friend and i think he is aiming for Jan for the kit being able to ship

    ant the only wiring is the glow plugs and alternator ( i swithced to single wire GM) you reuse the stock toyota starter

    yes i am at NAS whidbey, i work at the hospital, i am a corpsman


    stock radiator and just to the mouting brackets off and flipped them to get the core closer to the core support, nothing was cut on the truck

    So what are you gonna do with the oil pan sump when it's bagged? Srry for all the questions haha just really into this swap and have been back an forth with this an the vw

    its all good man :D , well i have decided o to bad it :S just going to static slam the thing and convert over to coil overs but the pan is mild steal so i may weld on some 1/4" plate or i may just build a skid plate i really haven't put much though into it

    I've seen some guys notch it to clear there steering. I'm wondering if I could just section it or raise the motor enough to clear. How much room do you think you have from hood to top of motor?

    thanks :D trucks been running great played with the injection pump to get a but more power the thing hauls A$$ advanced the pump a tad bit as well make the top end feel wonderful but i am haven cold start issues do to the advancment so i may have to back it off :/

    I believe I remember measuring about 22 inches from the ground to the hood when laying frame and body dropped on the rockers.

    Ya this motor would probably stick out of the hood on a bodied truck. I'd probably not even run a hood for awhile atleast during spring/summer. Then either run a cowl hood or something

    i am 100% sure it would not clear a stock hood if BD .......

    love it! I always like the idea of a mini crewcab dually with a diesel swap. I kinda like this idea for my 83 4x4

    i was sent over seas for a little bit to do work ............ alot going to happen to the toyota soon

    ordered fully poly bushing and ball joints and shocks

    the truck is running water meth injection now days and i am on the hunt for an explorere rear end please let me know if you have one for sale here in the PNW
