The inner one is manifold vacuum for smooth idle and light aceleration sense the mechanical advance doesnt move well under lower rpms and the outer is ported vacuum advance for heavy throttle past the mechanical advances ability I only use the outter one .. U may try hooking up the fuel cut /decel solenoid back up . It cuts the fuel when u left of the gas so u don't get backfires and pre ignition and when shutting the truck off From what u describe sounds like the truck is cruising at a rpm were timing isn't at a sweet enough spot and may be loading up

Yea it is a bunch of dumb stuff just emissions and for idle quality in fact most modded 22r engines use neither I'm convinced that mine runs a little better with both disconnected its just a little jumpy without one hooked up .. What I think he created is a flat spot were timing and fuel aren't meshing well sense the Asian carb is actually very sensitive in good stock condition and calibrated for rpm load conditions Weber carb will solve it all

agreed webers do solve alot of those emissions problems. only ****ty thing is the fuel mileage aint so good compared to the stock aisin carb.

So I reinstalled one of the vacume switches and rerouted one of the vacume lines that was missing since I got the truck. It still stumbles in the same rpms but not as much as before, hardly even noticeable.

The problem still accuring, flat spot in the same rpm range, even after I put the vacume switch back. And all this vacume line are getting irritating. Would a 32/36 weber need all these vacume lines? Vaacume lines make my head hurt!!

Well one vacume line would be less of a headache! I was gonna try to keep the stock carb as long a possible, but looks like its going in the box with the rest of my useless 22r parts...
