ok .. I lied !! I had to do 1 more thing before paint .. I had to build a moulding/cover for the transition between the roof and cab started by building it in Pieces , and then glassing it together .. trimmed and "snapped" into place .. still a little finishing , and some uhpolstery to do .. but you get the idea .. .
thanks guys .. i'm very excited myself in the mean time .. I need to clean up/rebuild a few items , starting with the canopy windows .
well I just happened to be by there again today , and they started blocking the bed sides .. right back down to the original gelcoat .
If you ever need windows for the canopy I can get some made for you as long as they're flat. I work at a glass manfuacturing company an I can get custom sizes cut an tempered if you ever need it
so busy polishing and cleaning stuff .. 1 of the window frames looks better in person , the pic really dosnt do it any justice !! real close to "like chrome" .
such a cool trekker...i'm glad you've taken your time on the build...but i'm even more excited it's coming to an end so you can drive it!
so spent some time today cleaning and painting .. front end parts scrubbed and emery clothed the grill and headlamp doors (sorry no pics of the h/l doors duh!! ) Prepped and Taped and painted grill emblem before and after and fender emblems .. just need to find some white plastic for some gaskets .. .
