well finally got the rear roof headliner in .. and new dome lamp installed and set the roof on to "check it out" .
looking good man. Sucks that your always waiting on this uhpolstery guy or this thing might be done already. Well cant wait to see this thing done man. keep up the good work
thanks .. yes he has put the build behind 6 weeks all together , but it always seems to be the case , when you try rely on someone else .. in any case , almost done .. and so far timing seems to be good .
well a little bit more today .. "mocked" up the rear hatch , and drilled hinge holes in the new roof I think she's ready for paint .
WOW!!! just read the whole build word for word. This thing is amazing! i didnt know these existed. just like many others didnt. so much atention to detail, and quality of workmanship. I'm lost for words. Bet your sons pi$$ed he's not getting it now! what happend with the "do it yourself" book you mentioned on page 34? wouldnt mind taking a look. keep up the great work.
thanks .. yes the trekker is a pretty RARE unit .. my boy is ok with it .. we're thinking of building another one .. this time , more factory correct . The book has been put on hold for now .. for just a bit .. my "agent" got busy , and cant handle the orgizining of it just yet .. but it's comming . .
