    got the speaker holes sealed , and the seat belt covers on ..

    also got the bottom of the steel rienforcement exposed .. cleaned and POR-15'd
    built the jack, tool and GPS box built .. (hidden under the seat when done)
    and will be ready for FINAL glassing tomorrow ..

    got the tub all done today ... :D

    floor is rienforced w/24oz woven and a couple layers of 1.5 oz mat
    storage box is also done ..

    also got the floor welded .. and now I can remove the cab to finish up all the grinding and welding underside

    I want to get the body work VERY close to completion .... so I want to keep the cab on for a bit yet

    This is just a thing of beauty! Those are the perfect wheels, the perfect height, hell! this thing is old toyota perfection! Hurry up and get done! lol

    spare tire is the issue ... as it is , I'm only going to be using a 31" as a spare .. I figured no lockers, so in a pinch , a 31 will get me out of trouble if needed . it was either the spare undernieth and subs in the floor , or tire undernieth and subs above the floor ... this way also , I will be able to mount the amps on the sub box , instead of on the canopy wall . (better I think)

    and dont even suggest hanging the spare off the back , or on the roof :looney:

    why you usin a 31 for a spare? you can really tear stuff up runnin a different size tire than the rest on a 4wd.

    it's the largest size that will fit undernieth it's either that or nothing . As I mentioned , the diffs are open , and in a pinch .. it will get me out of a bind if need be . I certinally wont be able to drive at hiway speeds , but I will certinally be able to limp it in . tires and wheels are brand new , as you can see , so I expect i'll never use the spare anyways , but , ya never know . I do plan on driving the Trekker to different shows , so I just will feel better with a little "insurance"

    got the front valance mounted ... now I can do the final body work on it ...

    also got a bunch more new pieces .. outer door handles and locks .. I will be sending the locks out to be all re keyed to the ignition .. so I will have 1 key.

    so finally got the rear tub mounted ..
    I used bolts for now (mock up) .. and I will be replacing them with elevator bolts for the final product . just like these
