That's what I like about it... ugly, but not Suzuki X90 ugly. Then again, completely blocky, misshaped dashes, like those of the AW11 MR2(first gen) are uglier.
Yeah, what others call ugly, I call personality! Except for the X90, that's in a category all its own, ugly, with no potential! One of the biggest flops in Suzuki's history.
naw u got me i was just watchin tv my bad but yea i either gotta get someone i can pay to pass me on smog or get everything i need to make my truck pass smog, to pass smog
No biggie, checked out other threads... okay, and my truck... and the one up the street. Not modified yet, is it? Are there any warning codes coming on?
naw but im gonna do custom gauges but i heard u needed to have a check engine light and stuff. but i wanna go with a 22r, cuz goddamn do those carbs look clean! remember this gonna be a showable truck
Funny how 4x4 guys and 4x2 guys get along so well on this site... Out on the streets, I've heard so many 4x4 owners diss lowered trucks and vice versa. Could just be that we all adore Toyotas on here and could care less about how many wheels move the trucks and how tall they are. I personally would have chosen something closer to the ground, it took some serious persuasion to get me to appreciate the dirty side of trucks. Curious though... What would you say if I had a lifted 2WD instead of the 4WD? Kinda like Evolmotorsports' RN50?
True. Did you see TRUCK ACTION's custom gauges in his truck? It's on the '84 - '88 section. So, you did the jumper wire in the diagnosis box to test then?
2nd thread? Take a regular piece of automotive wire and hook it up to two terminals and turn the ignition to on, not starting. On mine, terminals E1 and T. I don't know if they're the same for yours, but I wouldn't try it without the manual or Chilton guide.
You connect it to those terminals in the diagnosis box in the engine bay of the truck. The ECU stores trouble codes for when it doesn't comply with emissions. The owner's manual and Chilton guide should tell you the codes. Gotta make sure that you get the correct terminals or you could possible fry something, or activate the reverse fuel pump.
NOOOOO!!! nothing is wrong with my truck! lol im just saying that for smog passing that i heard u have to have a check engine light available for safety reasons
I wasn't saying there was anything wrong with it, but typically, the codes signal a reason as to why it doesn't pass smog, that's the way EFI's are wired. Except for the fuel injection kits for old school muscle cars, like what dad and I want to do with the Charger.
Actually, the first one was supercharged. Or are you talking about the new movie? Haven't seen it yet.
