or you can run a weber and put the stock back on to pass smog(and all the vacuum lines....), but if you get pulled over and inspected (which will especially happen with a nice flashy show truck) you will get nailed. i'm not completely positive on cali's smog laws but i'd imagine they're worse than az. in az if a car is older than 5 years it needs smog checked, unless you live outside the phoenix metro area.

 

i gotta find a guy who does smog test and see if he can gimme the details on what i need

 

We get alot of suped up tuner cars up here from Cali cause they can't pass smog there but they can here.

i've heard stories of befriending smog guys to cheat the system. i've never had to do a smog check, when i live in phx metro my car was pre 67

The 1st one is the RE so you have all the electrical for the fuel injection, plus it looks like he has fuel purifier (even better than a fuel filter). He could also have a/c, the others don't. They removed everything that they didn't need.

not yet, but it will. bastard gets hot as hell but i doubt im gonna put in p/s tho

 

So you'll have more wires for that. Alot of the guys with the full show trucks take out the a/c, sometimes power steering, etc for that same reason, to clean up the enigne bay. Thats why they look so wireless.

u kno if i can get new blinker rods... the ones that go in the steering column... u kno, for the lights and wipers... cuz mine are an ugly faded, so i either wanna brighten those up or get chrome one

yeah, ya know on newer cars as multiple settings to set how fast or often. SR5 models have it. You can swap 'em out. So I've been told.
