    My system will consist of:
    head unit http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/product.php?model=CDA-9886
    door speakers http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/product.php?model=SPX-17REF
    subs (2) http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/product.php?model=SWX-1043D
    amp for door speakers http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/product.php?model=PDX-2.150
    amp for subs http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/product.php?model=PDX-1.1000

If you're just gonna run two 12's you could get away with a pair of 6 1/2" components in the doors &, but if you wanted you could add a pair of 4" coaxes in the dash. I don't have any speakers in my dash anymore. Either way it would sound killer. What subs you goin with?

If you wanted to stay Kicker, I'd say the ZX750.1 or ZX1000.1 for the subs. As far as the mids & highs, it depends on what thier RMS power ratings are.

Thats gonna be a very tight fit. Specially for 12's. In my old '93 I put two 8's behind the seat and had to move the bench up 1 or 2 clicks. The 12's are gonna take alot more room.

They'll work a little better. Personally, I'd save the money and put into your bedbox.

If you wanted bass really bad you could do a shallow 10". But it wouldn't be able to handle the power the CVR's can. but why waste the money when you could get what you really want.

I'm gonna be about $800-1,000 into mine. Thats even having friends do it, but thats including cutting the hole in the cab, putting a boot on to wheather proof it & everything from start to finish.

When they cut the cab & the bed they put a rubber boot around it to seal it. It kinda looks like an accordion. Truck accessory shops use 'em sometimes when putting shells on trucks for the slider window so you can have the slider open into the shell.
