What does that mean, any wire that gets power when i turn it on? Any suggestions on what other wires to look for? When i looked earlier, in between all the stock wiring, my alarm wiring and being upside down i was getting a headach.

There were a few wires that just ended, dont know where they came from, just put a cap on it so hopefully it was one of those.

 

Do you have an aftermarket alarm? If so, was it doin it before you installed it?

 

Its aftermarket, but no it wasnt doing that before i installed it. All the alarm wiring looks good as far as i can tell (i hope)

 

Have you tried unplugging the alarm to see if it still pops fuses?

 

no i never thought of that. Good idea. Where would i unplug it from, a relay?

 

You could pull the fuse for it. Should be by the brain. You'll have to reprogram the alarm, tho.

 

hmmm, dont think i seen a fuse neatr the brain. I know theres 2 relays and a fuse for my power locks. Ill try look again. If anything its my friends shop so i can just roll down there and tell him reprogram it again.

 

You should be able to pull the main harness going into the brain, also.

 

ok ill try that out tomorrow. I got about 10 fuses so that means 10 tries, 9 actually, haahaha

 

Yeah, but if you pull all the harness's from the brain, it shouldn't matter.

 

No i mean if its not that, then its one less fuse i got. I never thought of checking that though, so thanks for that idea

yeah, cluster stopped working, then i popped off the dash, then i was like oh, thats not working too.

 

its still hooked up too, and theres no fuses on my deck

 

If there is no fuse on the deck at all, I'd put one on asap. Or is it popping that fuse as well?

 

nah just never had. deck is old too, cant read my MP3 CDs.

 

I would check that as well, then. Sometimes one thing that is shorting out can cause other problems.

Wait, is the radio & cluster on one fuse on these trucks?

 

Im not sure, all the other fuses are cherry in my truck. Hahaha, now you can see why theres a love/hate relationship with my truck
