next cruise im gonna see how big of a block they running. Mines, my bumpstops are about 1" away from the axle, so i think they trimmed theres or removed it
probably. They probably also are running 3-4" blocks with a mono leaf in the back and cranked down torsions in front. So thier ride is really stiff.
jus trim it. but if u not carrying a load in ur bed (no pun intended) u shuldnt need them cuz u wont run frame
Nah its good enough for me right now. Might just pick up a set stock shocks, you think they would be fine even if i got 3" blocks in the back or they might over extend?
alright. i brought some and the guy said would fit but there to long and i passed the return time already. junk deals thats why im weary of buying stuff now
These are the ones I bought http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.a...ocks&canned_results_trigger=&partfamilyid=552. Whats cool is you can run 'em from anywhere from stock height to a 3/4" drop.
dang its like $50 for one shock shipped. I think i know somewhere local that sells, just dont want to spend money and its the wrong one again.
I hear ya on the shipping. When I bought the shocks I also bought my drop spindles so it was $408 shipped.
A friend mostly, but I did the shocks. Spindles were kinda pain in the ars, but the previous owners didn't do any maintance. Shocks were easy, tho.
Oh i know how that guys, taking off my bumper dust was falling out when i was cranking the bolts, i was hoping the bolts wouldnt snap. And im still thinking about the roll on paint. Check out this link. http://rollyourcar.com/default.aspx
