Hey guys. I just enabled a chat feature over at http://toyotatrucks.freeforums.org/ It is not exactly as I would have liked it. I would have put a link to it at the top of the page but instead it just shows up right at the top of the index... Anyway, you guys should sign up over there and chat in the new chat room. It updates every five seconds which isn't the fastest chat room around but it is a hell of a lot better than having to check for new posts all the time.

to b honest thats exactly y i dnt want to, just cuz id only b talkin to u guys, n i even have an account on yotascene, i jus nvr go on it cuz theres hardly anything ever going on over there... i like this site cuz theres tons of diff projects bein worked on... we need really need to get lownloud to get the IM thing on here, i mean facebook and myspace even have it now.

 

Well I hate to burst yer bubble dude, but you already are only talking to us guys... That's kinda dumb of a reason not to try out something new. I mean if it were the exact same chatroom but not on a forum you would have been all for it... I am not asking anyone to stop using ToyotaMinis. Not byu a long shot. There are just some things that are lacking. The problem is not getting LownLoud to do anything. It is out of his hands. Many people are active members on multiple forums but go ahead and bury your head in the sand and keep posting in here and imagine that there are a whole world of people following every development of your thread.

 

I'm the same way. YS.com just isn't has busy has this site. And I think since Lownloud is trying to get things going, i.e. the TOTM, I'm good right here. Not saying I might not join later on down the road. But like General said, everyone I talk to is here. If Lownloud doesn't get the chat room goin but can get other things goin I think its a step in the right direction.

 

There is a function of your internet browser called tabs. Hit control+t and watch one appear. I think you guys should learn how to use them.

Hell, I'm a member of 3 Toyota, 2 Ford F-150, 2 Ford Ranger, and 1 Denver Broncos forums As long as Lownloud is trying, I'm good with that. I'm not gonna get into a debate with you over a stupid forum. So we don't want to join yours right now. Deal with it!

Jeremy, (I believe that your name right?), I made this chat room thing for you guys. I didn't do it to piss anyone off or to try to steal membership from TM. I was just baffled when you were all into it until you saw it was on another forum. I was not out of line with insults or anything. Threatening to ban me over this was ridiculous... I am sorry I upset you guys, but man David, you should seriously chill about the ban threat thing. I am not a **** talker. I am a serious truck enthusiast, as can be seen by the bulk of my posts on this forum. The fact that you want to have me banned over a difference of opinion says a lot about you... Anyway, how bout we just agree to disagree?

 

Man, if you follow my posts you might know I am a Chevy guy. Who ****ing cares? Should I be banned for thinking Fords are lame? Or for voicing that opinion? I seriously don't see how I was ever "slamming" you. I seriously thought the tab browsing thing might be a feature you guys could use to enrich your web browsing experience, although I admittedly tried to word it in a funny way. Who cares?
