very true it does but no money means big headaches also lol but hey i was only on cuz i had to eat lol and to give my condolensces bout ur uncle (spell check?) lol have a good night
You can zoom in pretty good on google maps and see all the buildings. My sister used to live in Newport, she took me deep sea fishing once. I'll NEVER do that again!
Hey bernie sorry to hear about your uncle. Glad they got all the fingers back on. How many did he chop off if i may ask?
Ya ever notice how carpenters seemed to be more accident prone then the average person Bernie, hopefully your uncle's recovery will go smoothly as I know that road is a long one for rehab on hand injuries. Bet it will drive him nuts though, not being able to do certain things for awhile.
hey josh, he cut 2 fingers off. thumb and index finger. also, the proper way to vertical weld (in most cases) is up. welding down causes slag inclusions and porosity. it's 50% weaker then a up hill weld. 175 amps seems a little high for highschool, unless you were using some 3/16" rod, but really unless your welding 2" thick metal it wouldn't be 3/16 rod. most highschools run 1/8" rod which depending on application and position usually runs between 90-110 amps. 3/32 rod usually will run around 65-80 amps. and finally the differences between 7m and 2jz a 7m gte is a 2.5 liter motor rated at 230h.p. a 2jz-gte is a 3.0 liter motor rated at 280h.p.
bernie, your the man. and we were welding with 9011 rods. and yeah now that i think about it 175 is high. and thanks for answering all my questions
you mean 6011? its a pretty common rod, good for teaching because its inexspensive. only down fall is it has more spatter than 7018 and the others.
it could have been a 60, hahahah dont really remember it was years ago. So for most welding, like for the frame and stuff, what would the amperage be at?
6011 rod is a darker brown rod, and lets off a very unique smell. for a truck frame i would suggest mig welding which is measured in volts. using .035 wire i would run it between 17-18 volts. if you were to stick weld it, the biggest rod i would run is 3/32 set to about 65 amps.
man... good year tires FAIL 2nd blowout.. not exactly blow out.. cuz i found out there was a sidewall leak after i got back from another town 15 minutes south (55mph road) my dad's taco had Goodyear Allegra's too... he also had a tire with sidewall leak
looks like 2 forward 2 reverse, but it's hard to tell. i do remember seeing this one on craigslist after it was featured in mt.
they would be the lower's hidden by the bed. i don't see any lowers going backwards. i personnally prefer bags, but the art of noize guys are really makin hydros more popular.
oh, ok. yea, I'd bag mine over hydros. I just saw that wanted to ask. Thanks, Bernie. Well, you guys take it easy and be safe. Goin out of town in the morning, be back tuesday nite. Driving my grandma to my aunts house in Prineville, OR.
oh, I will. taking my oldest daughter with me, she loves road trips. plus, she gets to get away from her sister. she's more excited bout that. check this out when you get a chance. its the pics from the Next Level '09 show a few weeks ago. http://www.miniaturesociety.com/ms/images/shows/nl09/index.html there's a pic of me next to my truck on page 9
