I wasn't even born when one or two first came out. GOD THAT IS A SEXY TRUCK THOUGH! Makes you wonder what became of it. I'd hate to see it rusting for 24 years on Universal's backlot, if I had the money, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
I've got a few of them including the full-frame version of the one you just posted View attachment 514 View attachment 516 View attachment 515
Somewhat... I've got the single cab. On top of some of the mods that's got, I'd like to add... -A sunroof (HOT in Elsinore, especially in my heat-trap truck) -Line X -Less lights on the bar (just two) -Keep my two-tone grey paint, (Fix it of course) after all... I am Sand Shark.
Well, actually, it's an '85. Easy ways to tell what year a 4x4 is are -84 are solid front axle, carbed -85 are solid front axle, EFI -86 maintain the six-slot grille, but get a different valance -87 and 88 are usually just the same, but V6 joined the line up in 88
Nice! I plan on buying a 4wd Pickup ext. cab or a 4Runner in a year or so. For a winter/camping/whatever rig, once I get my truck painted.
Thanks, I can't wait till I have the money to start up on it. I want to get everything SR5 in it too, guages, seats, console, and get rid of that ridiculous vinyl floor. Maybe Even throw in power windows...
I like the older body style myself, and the removable top on the 4Runner... Best feature I've ever seen. Only SUVs that I know that are convertables are b****en, Jeep CJ's, Wranglers, and of course, the 1st Gen. 4Runner.
Yeah, the extended cab is great in those. Wish that Toyota had released the quad cab Hilux out here or put a rear seat instead of a cargo shelf in the extended cabs in my year.
I've been into car audio since before I could drive. I'm 32 now, so its been a while. I plan on putting two Rockford Power series 10's in a bedbox runnin off a Power series 1500 watt amp in my truck
