i wouldn't say its pointless, just a **** ton of work when a simple drop is way easier.

i started body dropping my s-10 with a 5" static drop. then i stopped and haven't worked on it since.

hey thanks for answering all my questions. i really apperciate it. I have one more.

Remember you was telling me about the negative coil. So i looked. On the front there is a clip. one side goes to the engine, the other side goes to what looks like a resistor pack then into the truck. Is that what your talking about? I found the prooblem. it was a blown fuse under my dash. weird thing is i changed the fuse and it blew again so im thinking something is grounding out. Any suggestions? And is that the correct wire im talking about?

 

should be the one going to the truck. definitely sounds like it's grounding out somewhere. if you look real close on the coil it should have a neg. and pos. symbol.
