I'm torn between a few different setups, but I hope to at least hit 150.

Just do a blow through, cause no matter what it will be loud, and nothing beats the "wow" factor

with the "wow" factor, thats partially why i wanna do the 8 10's. that and no one does those anymore.

 

right, right. those people are usually considered "extreme". But nothing beats a daily ride bumping down the street

 

My wife used to love driving my old '87 s-15 Jimmy. I had a Pioneer head unit, inexpensive Audiovox Prestige 4x6's in front, 6x9's in the back, a single JL 10W3v2 10" in a ported box with a Phoenix Gold 250 watt amp (unfortunatly I don't have any pics). I hit 133 db with it! She loved it when teenies would pull up next to her bumping thier s**t, she would just turn it up and blow them away.

 

Alright, I gotta get goin. Taking the kids to thier cousins to spend the nite . I'm sure I'll be on later tho.

 

dude thats sick that your wife loves bass. when i get married one day i hope my wife likes it too.

and thats what i used to do in traffic. set my song up with a long intro, and pull up next to someone and start talking to them about how good their **** sounds. Then when my bass hits i would watch their facial expression and drive away. buahahahaha. When they would catch up i would turn my stuff back down, but suprisingly theirs would be off too.
