i.r.s. is independent rear suspension. it could be struts, coils, bags, hydros, etc. maily it's each rear tire being able to articulate without affecting the other side.

 

regular run of the mill straight axle like you have now.

thats wut i figured... josh, IRS is like the front is, u kno how the passenger side can move without the driver side wheel movin? thats wut IRS is but off an axle instead of a arms n all that

yeah it was bagged when i bought it...... really ****ty. thats why i rebuilt all of it.

 

oh i see. drivers back side looks kinda weird.

 

yeah i hate triangle notches. i think they look tacky, and are about 2" taller than a normal notch.

 

hey you know when someone does a "C" notch, but doesnt bring it back down, they leave it up, what is that for? When they do this

thats just personal preference really. its easier than making all the cuts to get it back down. i prefer to drop the backs of mine.


i'm going to be welding the back half for the hilux tomorrow. i'll post pics up when i do.
