Would 220 be to fine? Use 150 instead? I dont want to scratch it up and then when i paint can see the scratches.

 

honestly when it comes down to sanding i got no clue of what to use to sand it, i only know that when u sand, follow the grain lol but that u gotta sand to get the "chrome" off otherwise the paint wont stick

 

Naw my mirrors are black right now. They just ugly/dirty and im boerd right now so im thinking of re-spraying them. Thats my way of doing cheap "mods" that will make my truck look a little better

 

just clean the **** outta them then respray them then clear coat them

 

Yeah alright im gonna try scrub them. One has some weird looking crap on them, so might have to sand that one, but ill give it a shot. Dont worry ill take pics for you, ahahaha. ill be back later on

Yeah, I had noticed that... It's just a little strange to me chatting on the permanent record I guess... a lot of forums have a chat room. I think it would be cool. It's instant too. And you don't have to check for new posts.
