why do you need the double din? If you want it just for the stereo, just buy a flip out.

 

cuz i want to be able to watch movies n the movies off my ipod in my truck

hmm, maybe, but im just sayin a double din surround would be nice, but also, my lower dash with that lip didnt screw in rite, but the clips popped in so thats wuts holdin that in... my ignition cover worked, my dash, with the cupholder also fit, after i trimmed two clips... the double din was really the only thing that didnt fit... but still kind of a bummer, cuz id like to have all that u kno?

 

oh yea, the DD's are nice. I love mine. I have a seperate hook-up to watch video off my iPod

lol yea basically, but i wanna clean all that out... wow i was really pissed off earlier, thinkin bout it now, it was only the double din thing that pissed me off. i just dont wanna have to go buy the dash skeleton (idk wut its called lol)

 

oh, the brackets that go to the floor that the stereo shroud mounts to? I haven't done an install on one with the single din so I'm not sure how they look behind the dash

 

well there are more clips to get in. my single din had like a bottom support bar that i chopped off (i did it cleanly) lol and for some reason the curve doesnt match up with the top of the dash, idk y

the dash clips & whats there when you pull the stereo shroud off. I can look up the pic with the stereo installed on your build thread

 

well its gonna look diff now cuz of that lil plastic bar i chopped off, but yea when it clipped in, only one side would really stay in (closer to the AC)
