Partially because my truck's paint is an eyesore, even from a distance. The later paint is a different shade than OE (not faded or old, just s***) and the OE is poking through in certain areas.

Still, my girlfriend is beautiful, just going to keep her for me!!!!!

I may just go for straight grey like the factory, no stripes. But if I ever miss them, I'll bring in an image of them to a graphics shop and get vinyls made. As if I don't have enough vinyl, huh?

 

vinyl seats suck man.. my first toyota had vinyl seats.. I would drive to mexico once a month with those seats.. man.. i remember getting out soaked in sweat! i hated that seat... about the paint.. I'm thinking white, with a pearl on it.. something minimal..

 

Yeah, I'm dying of dehydration waiting to get those d*** 4Runner seats and console. I really need a new job, then I could actually be the registered owner of my truck, buy it off dad. $5000 sound about right?

Actually, mom said all the repairs I made should be my payment for that. They don't have to worry about one little thing like I do when it comes to mine.

The average 4x4 I've seen on Auto Trader ranged in that vicinity, so that's why I asked. I've probably spent around that since I got him... My brother here's a metallic thief!

What do you mean? The price range? I guess it just has to do with the taller stance, the front differential and transfer case. Not to mention the cooler fenders and lower valance than the standard 4x2.
