...also, thier is two kinds of bolt holders (braces for bolt head). The one with no outside connecting piece will allow the holder to spread open and the bolt will shoot threw and holder (brace) will swing down, FAST!! beware and goodluck!!! btw, i cut down my bumpstops and roled without any (torsions) for a year. ;not recomended unless you are young!!
i think you miss understood me when i said i was getting a torch. i am going to use it to heat up the bolts so i can bust them loose noy cut them. thanks for the info. i learn more every time i am on the site.
LOL We're just glad you're doing things the safe way and all that. :hyprocrite I am: if you can find some sort of hammer to start tapping at the wrench, go for it. It's basically "shocking", where you're trying to breaking it loose (of course lol)
maybe im reading this wrong but this doesnt sound right to me. shouldnt he have the suspension hanging at full droop for less tension for the bars? having the suspension compressed up would put the torsion bars under tension just like having a coil spring compressed.
did you ever get the torsions adjusted? if so how did you do it? im having the same problem. the passenger side went fine. but i just bought another 22mm wrench and soaked the bolts overnight with pb blast and gonna take some mapp gas to it.
i got the drivers side done too!!!!! just wondering when i was measuring and trying to even both sides out i the drivers side adjusting bolt is hanging lower than the passenger side is this normal? theres less threads showing on the driverside the the passenger.
