i was planning on taking a ride to autozone in the morning to check, i know everyone calls them something different so thanks for that. and for whatever reason i figured toyota wouldnt have them, learn something every day lol. for now i just used a zip tie and its working like a charm.
Dropped the flywheel off at the machine shop getting it turned and lightened up it needed weight watchers
Solved the air leak problem in my air system, leaking safety pop-off valve, got a new nickle plated one from McMaster-Carr,200 psi. System turns off @ 176psi & the valve went off!!!! So now will have to but a air gauge @ the tanks & see what pressure is there when cuts off!! Replacement valves ,225psi coming!
Manual Transmission mount installed, exhaust frame bracket and hanger installed, catback removed (didn't have a bolt for it all ._. ), adjusted right side torsion to lower it to match left side (not sure if it worked or not...), and called partstrain to get my order processed. It should ship soon and the corner lights got shipped from thailand. Now that the transmission mount is correct, solid, and mounted up higher, shifting seems so much more solid. The shifter raised up too, seems more normal! And i forgot how loud the exhaust is, but that deep thumping sound of the 22RE is addictive.
My wife went 1/2's with me on a complete hand tool rivnut kit with all powder coated black steel allen button head head fasteners (with case, got these at Tacoma screw, love that place) ranging from 6/32 to 10/32 and 1/4", so I: 1. reinstalled my side mirrors using rivnuts instead of self taps 2. reinstalled my plates that hold my Lokar door pulls to the doors instead of using self taps using rivnuts Sorry no pics, camera won't load pics anymore to computer, not sure why and my phone has a hard time transfering pics to my e-mail, need to get this figured out.
I did this over the weekend. Thats a Harbor Freight, cheapie, cylinder hone with the tops of the hones taped to theyre legs to keep them from moving.
