Aired up the leaked tire and drove the ****ing **** out of it for the first time in 3 months. MAY be getting RX8 18x8's with tires today....

Well, it was Saturday morning but got my oil, trans and rear diff oil all changed, just basic oil changed.

Took the starions off and through on some kia stock wheels with hubcaps. Slowly but surly coming apart and going back to stock.

I was supposed to buy the RX8 wheels but... the guy's friend was hospitalized over night, so i didnt get to meet up with him.

 

Installed a '96 wooden 14" grant steering wheel and replaced the sliding rear window for the single one.

 

Thats really clean! Maybe you can help me install my grant wheel. Im sure you have the mechanism to remove the OEm wheel including the airbag.

 

Let her rest today and took my braddas taco

 

Replaced the carrier bearing, front brakes and brake master cylinder. Still have a vibration

 

wheels unbalanced? do you notice it more at higher speeds?

Go down to the local tire shop, around $15 per tire to get it rebalanced.

Thats what my issue was

 

Took the 87 to my buddies shop. It's getting new timing kit, oil pan gasket, water pump, oil pump, valve cover gasket, and belts. Should be in pretty good shape after this stuff is done.

 

Finished the cleaning/waxing & readying for my next show.
Also installed new shocks( same band as before),as had two bad ones ( 7 years) on them !
Ready for Saturday!!

 

Got some stuff together for the show in Hilmar and finished my passenger door panel.

 

what show ya tearin up saturday cause A-Town isnt this weekend? and i moved my truck from one spot to another....oh and forked out $180 to DMV to re-instate my license so i could legally drag it, well, sorta legally lol. its only illegal if ya get caught

 

I put my engine on the stand so I can start putting it back together.

 

I just had brand new tires put on and they balanced them. Im assuming its either wheel bearings or u-joints, although the joints seem to have zero slack in them, that will probably be the next thing I do.
