just keep an eye on your gauge and check your radiator from time to time..did you use hose water or distilled? hose/tap water is bad!!
yep it's a bodydrop. Basically you build a new frame under the cab an lower the cab mounts an you keep the stock floor where it's at. Hence the name stock floor body drop
i got pissed off at my tire/rear end combo and ripped out the 410's and slapped in 356's ...well hopefully it works cause im still waiting for parts as we speak...hope i got a ride home
damn it got rejected by my ring gear....so if you go to swap to a 3 series 3rd member you are going to need to grind out your axle housing to make the ring gear fit. So i ran out of time with the work day and had to throw my 410's back in. Hopefully when i get more time at work i can attempt this again.. damn
got my red/clear tails and clear blinkers and corners. put the tails and blinkers in but my fenders are too f'd up for the corners to fit. im gonna sand down the trim and paint it black. pics soon
just because of all the minerals in tap, you can build scaling n gunk up on the radiator..especially if you have hard water..i used to run tap water back in the day, but now nothing but distilled..its cheap at wal mart anyways
What was the issue with the ring gear? What year housing/diff combo did you try to put together? I had a few issues using a 77 2wd diff into a 85 4wd housing.
lol. i took pictures on my phone but i cant send them. network problems or some sh!t. i'll post them soon though.
Started it up to move it away from the grass so i could edge and mow. boy does it need a decent carb.
I have a stock 20R carb... but it needs 30+ vacuum hoses and I just borrowed it to test. I'm in the market for a decent Weber. 22R would be jetted a little rich for my 20R. Thanks anyway!
