Today I was observing the rear diff under the truck and a black widow that has been living under there almost came down on my face.

Finally got this sucker in today!!! I pulled the engine to re-thread some exhaust mani bolts and put a Hedman Heder on. Also, i finally got my fenders and hood from the dude who was sanding/priming them for me. Took him 3 months to get em back to me... fml. As for the motor, i couldnt line it up with the trans in so out she came for an external mating. But it went smooth after that. Tmrw, hooking up all hoses and electrical and hopefully getting her fired up.

Wasn't aware of Toyota red coolant. Is it high mileage or sumfin? Better pump lubage?

Ok. Ill bite on the red. If only for the food colorant. But the big difference in coolant alchemy seems to be a certain 2BHE acid used in gmz dexcool being a rust inhibitor but plastic eater. Inany case. Toyota seems to be fond of the red stuff as of late. So I'm game. Thanks for the insight!

other coolants tear apart the japanese metals and protectants. :)

Toyota red coolant is a great investment in my eyes.

as for gf's working on trucks, mine would hate sanding the bed... lol

new trans mount w/stainless hardware... she started pissing engine oil out when i let her run for 5 mins. Hoping it was just a couple of boltless holes on the block. I put in a couple bolts but cant check for sure till i replace the oil she spat at me

She even runs to the scrap yard with me when I need to go. She asks stupid questions but at least she is willing to learn!
