Yah you Cali guys get raped on Petrol. I started sanding my dash pieces for the smoothy dash, hope I dont F this up too bad.
Was thinking that since the question on how to do it pops up every few months. I will take pics as I go to insure I post pics of progress and tools that work best (atleast in my opinion) I'll even name it correctly like "How to smooth your dash, eurofreaks way!"
Today I removed 90% of my interior (which isn't much for a standard cab hehe) and began deeeeep cleaning. I got this truck a few days ago for free from my brother and it's in the, "could use some TLC" category.
(It was actually yesterday) I went to start my truck and the battery is dead. I'll be putting her on a charger today. But I did buy the rest of the stuff to complete the 4Runner front end conversion!!!!!
Kicked my dash out the way to install a used radiator on the civic so I can sell the beast and buy a truck that can pull a trailer.
The tailgate and a little bit of the bed is rattle canned, along with the front part of the hood. The rest of it is just nasty from years of neglect. All from previous owners.
Got the interior going back together: new carpet kick panels rear side panels rear panel w/ electrical & sub panel console & glass are all in today get the battery & seats in than back to polishing out the bed.
