Realized how I am going to lay out the 4 link for bags. And measured a 5M in a Celica Supra every which way possible...and it will fit under a stock hood, and won't need firewall/core support notching. WOOT! So this summer, a 5/6/7M build will be underway. Most likely with multiple carbs...and possibly a turbo :D

What did I do to my truck today?

Well, my truck has been sitting for some months now.. and yesterday when i got home my neighbor said i might have a new tenant in my mini.. She said she saw a mouse chilling at the bottom of the truck.. I opened the hood and guess what I found? :puke: rat turds on the intake manifold, battery and in random places.. since it was late last night I decided to clean it today and i looked in the bed of the truck and more turds.. i aired up the mini and guess what? more turds! that bastard was everywhere.. so that's what I did.. picked up the bastards crap, washed the truck and washed the engine bay..

I removed the radio bezel while sucking on a 'Wicked Titty'... Found out that the AM radio with the 'TEN' logo on the front is in fact a Toyota radio... looked at the underside, and BAM! 'TEQ' bitches!

    Lemme start with yesterday.
I went to pick my truck up. It's dirty and dusty.
Got readjusted to how loose it felt after not driving for 2 weeks.
    It passed 173,000 :D
Took her to the regular monday night car meets my KSAutoforum runs.
    Drove to get ice cream.
    Chilled with my two friends.
About 8-9 other friends had another meet, rolled next parking lot.
    We went to chill there.
Went home to get jeans and iPod USB cord (didnt want mosquito bites and lack of music during cruise)
Cruised around town, took highways, kept up with a handful of Z's, G, IS, GS, TC, and Prelude's.
    Up Parking garage.
    Down Parking garage.
Another parking garage. sat up there in a circle around 2AM.
    Cruised to IHOP.
    Washed my baby at 6AM.
Got home and slept at 7AM.
    Today I woke up at 9PM :D

Took my truck to work saturday night (friday work day) and had my first freeway race since moving to H-town...

Kid in an integra was nice enough to do some 40 mph rolls... 2 in 4th gear and 2 in 3rd... I had fun! Wish I had got it on video with my crackberry tho...

Removed the third member to install a new set of gears and found a bad wheel bearing.:(

On the flip side, maybe this is the source of this strange vibration I've had recently.:waytogo:

good luck with that! so your hunt of that vibration has ended! lol

    Yota4life, what's sfbd? bodydrop?

Today on my truck I flushed the radiator and filled it with pure water. hopefully that will give it more water than antifreeze (which i believe is what was in the system during winter, more antifreeze?). It seems to have a little trouble after a hot/ warm start.
I also removed my clear taillens to throw on my old orange white reds. miss them. I love the clears, but i just wanna throw on my stocks for now.
I need to find a pipe that routes cold air to the intake (it's on the right side of the truck now.) Anyone have some good ideas?
And maybe find a pipe that will replace the current makeshift DIY one.

I wouldn't put straight water in it, it could boil off and cause your truck to overheat, not sure how hot it gets where you live but the purpose of antifreeze is not just for winter but summer too..I always run 50/50 in mine no matter what temp..I doubt the coolant is the problem of your hot/warm starts

If you insist on running just water I would add some water wetter to it at least. I use it on my bike, cuz you can't have antifreeze in your bike at the track. It actually helps to cool better, they claim a 20 degree drop in temp from just water/antifreeze alone

i only removed the coolant from the radiator and not the whole system. I'll most likely look into the water wetter. but i saved the red coolant i drained out.

and then today i bought a flexible aluminum 3" pipe for about $10. threw it in the engine bay. routes some air to the intake.
