I scored a low mile rebuilt early 22r shortblock for $50 today. Race truck is going to be back on the road soon.

 

PureONE filters are overly built.

I assume that last OC I did, I was a lil too tight with the filter.. again.

but my friends and I tore apart the old PL30001 upon install. I inspected the filtering media... AND DAYUMN, it catches every tiny tiny tiny particle of metal. Badass.

Got 205/40/16's from my sister's bf for free.

gunna put the 205/40/16's up front.
and the 215/60/16's in the rear.
Truck will be much lower, and look weird.
the 215/60/16's in the rear should match up the 3.41's in the rear and make the speedometer a bit more true.
60mph is actually 64/5mph...

 

Drove my truck for the first time since i bought it. feels good to be able to actually drive it.

A new set of 35x12.5 to replace the 33x12.5 on the wheels. Didn't quite expect them all to fit but it worked, and it the axle didn't even bottom out.

 

Washed her up since its been sitting since last thursday cause i took a road trip to Scottsdale Arizona to go visit a old friend of mine. I only seen on lowered truck the whole time i was out there.

 

Haha I've fit sooooooooooooo many things inside a short bed, it's amazing.

Tires are relatively light! How far was the drive to get them?
