I came home a little early from work, shoved a paperclip into the b+ and fp slots in the diagnostic port, and she cranks and stays running. I read something about that somewhere online, and I have no idea what it means, so it looks like I get to spend some time doing my research... But, hey, its a start, right?

Well, it seems it is either the afm or the cor, so i ordered one of each used on the eBay. At only $65 shipped total, it wasn't too bad of a deal. Plus, both have a 30 day guarantee, so I'll replace one, then the other, and if neither fixes it, then it looks like I'll have a spare of each. After that, I'll have to check to make sure that I don't have some sort of intake leak. I'm fairly certain that I don't seeing as how she runs PREFECTLY with the jumper in. If all of that fails, I'll re-jigger the wiring so that the fuel pump will be cut on either with a switch in the dash, or by the key turning on. Come to think of it, I had heard that a trick some Miata owners have is to put a fuel pump cutoff switch in their glovebox so that it is harder to steal their car. I might do that, and replace my ignition switch with a switch and a button. I already have a removable steering wheel, so it would be REALLY hard to drive off with my car. Car security only keeps honest people honest anyways...

Prepped to lower my truck, tried to remove the residue from the ugly purple and teal pin striping, did the first coat of the last few interior pieces I need to finish my interior.

I got some tires put on my wheels and put them on the truck for test fitting, only to find out that I REALLY need to do some more trimming under the hood... I don't know what I'll be able to do to get them to clear being laid all the way out...

/\ cutting is def required. My front wells are basically gone in my truck pretty much leaving only the skin of the fender itself.

I installed a harbor freight air horn on my black truck, now I can go to the football games and cheer them on hahahahah. Actually pretty loud (stock if not better) for being such a tiny electric compressor and 8" horn. While doing this I mocked up where my Hornblasters are going to go on my red truck. Those are gonna be LOUD 200psi 4 horns 1/2 line should be according to website about 160DB or louder

I already have cut out fenders... It looks like I'm going to have to cut them up another 2 inches. It seems like I won't be able to go much further without the tires hitting the firewall... Am I going to have to tub the firewall????? Time to buy my own sawzall and angle grinder???

2008 Mercury Mountaineer 18x7.5. I have a LOT of work to do... Somehow it is still tucking lugs in the back. Hopefully I won't have to do any more cutting back there... And thanks, bro!!!

Started on the BJ flip and replacing the drop spindles. The weather took a turn and it got really cold outside. Had to stop early. My dad and I learned a lot of new stuff with this project. We have never dealt with removing spindles and working with ball joints. I should be able to get one side finished today and hopefully the other too.
