my sister got a new remote start on her car today so I took back the old viper 2 way alarm I sold her a few years ago... gunna put it on my truck tonight and have me power locks !!!
Drove to school, drove home. Picked up brother, drove home. Realized rear overload leafs are not "aligned". Straightened leafs, tightened u-bolts, tightened front bumpstops, put steelies back on with hubcaps.
gutted my cat, put on my hard cover tonneau and found out it doesnt quite fit its close but not exact damn toyotas and their round bed corners
put new clear corner lights on since my truck had 4wd fenders i need the the 89-91's mounted the core support and started mounting the body back to the frame also working on the dash getting the bolts epoxied in.
I used a BFH and a breaker bar, also used a pry bar to get the sides. It freed exhaust flow up really well but didnt really changed the sound of the exhaust but you can definetly tell a difference in flow. Here is a pic of the aftermath
Went to drive it to work, pushed the clutch pedal in and went right to the floor with no resistance. Checked the clutch master and it was empty. No leaks around it so looked at the slave. Guess where the fluid went? Back into the garage it goes!
I did that to my cat. I actually wished that I didn't gut it. Running some Magnaflow, ever since i FULLY gutted the cat, you can hear this distinct "tick". I think you're able to hear the valves now lol. im not sure if i should describe it as a tick or something else. I'll think of it. I also think it'd allow some more backpressure for some more torque, and slightly quieter.
It actually wasnt today but it was this past weekend. I installed a new Ebay special chrome intake and changed the fittings on my front bags.
Slapped the new clutch slave / master in, nice to be able to shift again! Drive it to work today too.
6sand bags in the rear with a c-notch but no trimmed crossmember plus intense drifting = i brokeded my exhaust hanger for my magnaflow. lack of welder = removal of magnaflow. Open cat, welcome to my life again!
Drove home in rush hour on I-5 last night, and ten miles from the house, my clutch 'has issues'. I have never had a problem with the thing, but pretty suddenly, it is engaging on the floor now. I will probably take a look this weekend and figure out what has happened.
