damn bro... Idk why you're running to so many problems good luck man. I push my 22RE hard... like... everyday... once its warmed up hahaha
wooooo played in the snow today i learned that i need a battery though. had to jump start it. i guess its just old and weak and the cold temps kill it
Nice man. How old is the battery? The battery cables good? All grounds good? Check connections! I still need to mount the steelies for winter.
if i recall correctly there is a sticker on the battery that said it expired in like 04? but its definitely the battery itself because it works fine in warm weather
The sticker is usually the date of purchase or something. Mine has an 08 sticker on it. I say just check the wiring and crap. I thought my issue was my battery last week when my truck didn't start. It was definitely the shoddy wiring job I had when I did my battery/ intake swap (which worked for about 5000 miles and more haha) 72" 2gauge cable - ~$12 ~24" 4 gauge cable (i think its 4) - ~$6 Only thing my friend had to do is chop my 2gauge into 4gauge to fit the terminal distributor thing I had. Every morning is an instant start now. Hit it once and she fires up.
hmm well it started when i jumped it, it had been sitting for a few weeks though in the cold. i tried starting it and it would turn over but not nearly fast enough it was really slow and weak.
Found out a stud is missing on manifold that's were my gasket blew also got a nice split in my district cap guess water got on it froze and cracked so its making truck run ****tty
distributor cap? thats a cheap fix. but the stud on the other hand, is it just missing or is it broken off?
Im waiting on the guy to call me so I can go pick this up ! hopefully I can get a title for it, if not I will switch everything to my 89 to get it on bags... 91 Lowrider Toyota Pickup
Wow thats a deal. Swap everything over to your 89, keep the engine on the side to play with, sell off remainder of the body parts. Nice find.
so i broke my front bumpstop studs like over half a year ago.... and i needa fix it so it doesn't pop off and fly down the road.
Found out what exact stud I need its the long Allen bolt that goes through manifold right next to thermostat housing. Also my fuel filter is just chillin hanging by the line's not bolted to block
