Took my 87 4x4 to work today and on the way home loaded her up with a ton of wood for the deck I'm building. Man I love how the older Yota 4bys handle loads! :D

Moved it into the garage again to get the front end all done, finally. Hopefully. Guess I drove it 20 feet also then, haha. :waytogo:

Went to Nastyville, a local show put on by Nasty Habitz. Entered the truck in the best stereo catagory. Last time I do that. All they wanted to know was who had the loudest bass. But I had the cleanest sounding and best install. The car that won was a Civic that had no clarity and rattled like a tin can.

LOL I was at a light yesterday on my way to work and I kept hearing this dude's license plate rattle on his trunk. The screws were loose from the bass in his trunk, so it made a serious racket from the outside! I just roll my eyes at those guys... loud for the sake of being loud. Clean = better.

Today I loaded up my truck with my friend's two 18" Advan Type 6 wheels I believe. Then his two bumpers for his Z, and a bunch of other suspension and exhaust parts. Moved it to his new place.

After that, I fixed a hella ding i found on my fender. then I hammer clearanced some more of the left fender.

    went crazy, pulled bumpstops out.
    i scrubbed.

trimmed the top nub of the bumpstops off. threw em back on. damn studs rusted and broke off. That's right, they aren't ****n bolted down. hell yeahh. Anyway, I have about 2mm between the frame and bumpstops. gives it some travel and prevents it from scrubbing my treads off. I'm at a happy medium.

the bed is mounted to the truck via the floor.... in basic terms.

Frame mount>>bed mount>>floor>> the rest of the bed.

So when you raise it, you will need to extend where the bed mounts were.

the part you cut will be the inner walls.

This is from what I see on my own bed.
