I scored big at the junkyard today! Went to get a set of rocker assembly for my motor I'm building, and ended up also getting a fender better then mine, both taillight lenses (no cracks!), some seat belt buckles, and nearly perfectly straight doors!

Even better was I barely had to do anything to get all of it, most of the work was done for the rocker assembly, most of the screws were out of the taillight lenses (only had to do 4 of the 12), the fender was laying next to the truck, and the doors were easy since both fenders were off already..

Not on my truck, but got my block, pistons and rings from machine shop and ordered a gasket set, full bearing set, timing set with steel guide, and head bolts from engnbldr..

Now my coworker needs to get my head done and I'll be set:waytogo:

Changed oil, was 30,000 miles overdue according to service sticker in the window. Found dizzy vac adv actuator was blown, ordered new one from lc. Replaced a bunch of vac lines and emissions hoses. Need to install shocks.

89 Regular Cab. The weirdo with the stock suspension.
I ordered an older Rockford Fosgate 18 inch subwoofer. (not sure of the year, Pretty sure it was among the last years they made them.) Now when it arrives I have to find a place that will put a fresh surround on it and hopefully I can find a vintage "The Punch" dust cap to have installed on it. I'll be mixing years, but I want the old school, 80's-early 90's look for it.

Gotta love Previous Owners! I am gonna replace some seals and gaskets and if this thing won't quit leaking I'll be nearly forced to do an LS swap! Poor me :D

I need to sell my kart or something to fund that.

I now have second gear in my 90 again. I had a busted shift fork due to stupidity on my part. It's nice to have the truck back in action. :D

    lets see....
i replaced my valve cover gasket along with the grommets
    spark plugs
    spark plug wires
    distributor cap & rotor
    oil and filter
    fuel filter
air filter and new a/c belt and alternator belt
and lastly cleaned the carb and engine bay from leaking gasket.

drove it to work the next day only to get to work and come out after work and see a HUGE oil spot under my truck of fresh oil! opened the hood and oil everywhere!
turned out to be the crankshaft seal.
drove it home and let it cool down. pulled off the fan/clutch, the new belts i just replaced (now covered in oil) and pulled off the harmonic balancer. pulled the seal out and inserted a new one. reinstalled everything back on and BAM, oil leak fixed!

now i have to really clean the engine bay as the pulleys threw that oil everywhere!!!
