but since EVERYONE ELSE thread jacked this... yea thats right it wasnt me! ill contribute to the actual thread. javi, my homie has 35% tint on his but ill tell u, u cnt see inside it, night driving aint that bad and it stays cool inside!
yea dude that 35% u cant see in anyways so if u want really dark id say 25% jus so it aint that bad but ull still have ur privacy
like wut u mean? wut shade to get? if u want dark, id say 30 or 25 but probably 30 if ur not going overboard
In hawaii SUVs cant go darker then 35%. Only the top strip can be tinted. Trucks the front cant be darker then 35% Only the top strip can be tinted and anything behind the drivers/passanger window can be as dark as you like. You can spray paint the windows black and its legal. My moms highlander is tinted 5% over the factory tint. At night cant really see out. If we reversing gotta roll down the windows to see. No one mentioned consequences of having dark tint. Anyone wanna share? In hawaii if you get tagged its a $296 ticket. If the cop is a ******** he can tag you $296 per window, which isnt uncommon. Ive heard stories of cops tagging people for those little triangle pieces (4dr cars, back doors) so thats like 7 windows x $296.
It's illegal to have the front winddsheild entirely tinted, just the top sunscreen, I've heard standard is 6" but every state is different. When my last truck was getting tinted the guy at my friends shop said why not tint the entire front windshield, I did noit know about it being illegsal then until it was done and someone told me, I went back and had him take it off, not worth a ticket, so my advice is don''t do it, just do the top sunscreen.
Ive already got it done but thanks, it is illegal in all 50 states most likely, but who cares ? its not even a fix it ticket, its just a fine and your good till you get caught again. no I dont want a ticket but im willing to pay for it because its worth it to me, ill probably be pissed if i get a ticket but its not like i didnt see it coming
