I have yet to take the top off and put the roll bar back in, hope to make that happen this summer sometime hopefully. so stay tuned for that.

    but...

    It's update time

lots of little things to generally improve it, its been my solid "forget to check the oil" dd for awhile now. heres some of the things i remembered to take pics of

lots of rubbing noises in the front. went through and re/moved bolts and captured nuts as needed, acceptable rubbing noises now.

in the rear im screwed, just not enough space in the wheel wells. with the heavier body and clearance issues i typically run 30psi in my air shocks while i be lazy about adding another leaf.

pulled the fender off and beat on it a little bit
    [IMG]

    not bad
    [IMG]

    changed the front mail seal
    [IMG]

started the slow process of a wire tuck and detail on the eng bay
    [IMG]

installed the 4wd SAS kit per fan request
    [IMG]

finally found some NOS bumper corners and got the stock bumper back on
    [IMG]

then i went to a carshow and parked with the driftRunner
    [IMG]

i was chasing this idle stumble that ended up driving me nuts as nothing tests bad. so i pulled the fireball setup off my hilux and cleaned it because... well look at it. but it runs a million times better now and has a longer powerband.

then one day my runner and wheeler were hanging out and my wheeler said "you cant flex brah"

runner said "I've been SAS'd yo, watch me wheel this pile of rocks
    [IMG]

"couple big ones on top, but i made it, you see me pick tire?"

    "stuffing hard brah"

was kinda thinking about selling it because as a truck it was more useful so i took a bunch of pics
    [IMG]

if you cant read the sticker it says "it's been SAS'd" which truthfully this body was before i got it lol.

    gratuitous pics

I've been keeping my eye out for a runner donor to build exactly this rig. Maybe I need to sell my 84 x cab and go on the hunt. :D

If you do decide to sell, let me know. This thing is shweeeet!

If it was more useful as a truck, you should trade me for my runner :waytogo:

    Thanks frinzo :drunk:

White trash- or keep your ex cab as a donor for a 2nd gen 4rnr 4door swap...

First80- this thing is always forsale for the right price lol. It's not in the keeper class, maybe one day but it's just a daily for now. I wouldn't trade for another runner, equally as useless. I'd consider a partial trade for a clean and stock single cab 84-88 with a carb and 5speed. Miss having something I can just toss motors/bikes/whatever in.
